The Role
As Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring and supporting a team of rehabilitation professionals while maintaining a small clinical caseload. You will play a key role in driving service excellence, team engagement and sustainable performance outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching and developing a team of rehabilitation consultants
- Driving high-quality return-to-work outcomes for clients and stakeholders
- Fostering a positive, engaged and collaborative team culture
- Managing team performance, budgets and revenue targets
- Overseeing onboarding, induction and ongoing professional development
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintaining a small caseload to stay clinically connected
- Participating in industry events and professional forums
About You
You are a motivated and people-focused leader with a strong background in occupational rehabilitation and a passion for developing others.
You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Exercise Physiology or Rehabilitation Counselling
- Relevant professional registration (AHPRA, ASORC, ESSA or equivalent)
- 5+ years' experience in occupational rehabilitation
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior or leadership role
- A coaching-based leadership style with the ability to support clinicians managing complex physical, psychological and biopsychosocial cases
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- A genuine passion for helping people return to meaningful work and life
